Course: Weekend PRINCE2 Practitioner
Course Summary
This 5 day Prince2 training course is spread over 2 weekends and includes the 3-day Prince2 Foundation Certificate on Weekend 1 (Friday to Sunday) and the Prince2 Practitioner Certificate on Weekend 2 (Saturday & Sunday)
This accredited 5-day course will provide you with a working understanding of the PRINCE2™ project management method to a level where you can use it to manage your projects and to pass the internationally recognized PRINCE2™ Foundation and Practitioner examinations (Included in the course)Previous experience of PRINCE2™ is not necessary, but a basic awareness of project work in your own business environment or a general understanding of project management will be of benefit
The Course fee includes pre-course reading pack, PRINCE2™ manual, registration, PRINCE2™ Foundation and Practitioner examinations (Total value over £250)

Course Outline
By the end of the course you will be able to:
-Understand the need for project management
-Understand how PRINCE2™ meets that requirement
-Apply the PRINCE2™ processes
-Prepare project plans with product based techniques
-Undertake risk analysis and management
-Prepare a Project Initiation Document
-Understand and apply techniques for the management of product development, quality control and change control
Who should attend ?
The event is recommended for practising project managers who are responsible for managing projects using PRINCE2™, or considering using PRINCE2™ for their next project. Previous experience of PRINCE2™ is not necessary.

The five day Event is accredited by the APMG and presented by an APM Group Accredited Training Provider for PRINCE2™
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites other than a basic awareness of project work in the delegates own business environment.
Pre-course study
Delegates will receive a pre-course reading pack which will include the PRINCE2 manual and are requested to carry out approximately 15 hours pre-course reading prior to starting the course.
Examinations
The examinations consist of the PRINCE2 Foundation examination, a 1-hour multiple-choice paper, and the 3-hour PRINCE2 Practitioner examination which consists of 3 questions based on a case study
Certification
Delegates who pass the Practitioner examination are awarded the qualification of "Registered PRINCE2™ Practitioner". The certificate is an internationally recognized qualification in PRINCE2™.
