 MSP "Refreshed" in September 2007

Why has MSP been "Refreshed" ?

Change programmes are becoming increasingly transformational
Portfolio management has grown at the level of the corporate body
• Businesses now work in regulatory environments that require increased transparency.

What's Changed ?
The main change has been to structure the guide around an MSP framework, which is based on three core concepts:
  • MSP Principles
  • MSP Transformational Flow
  • MSP Governance Themes
A new Managing Successful Programmes manual has been released September 2007

MSP Qualifications have been re-named
  • Current MSP Foundation Examination – no change (MSP 2007 Foundation)
  • Current MSP Intermediate Examination – Becomes the MSP Practitioner (MSP 2007 Practitioner)
  • Current Practitioner Examination – Becomes the Advanced Practitioner (MSP 2007 Advanced Practitioner)
The new MSP Practitioner exam has changed from essay-style to multiple-choice
