PMI qualifications involve an exam-based process using the >PMI Body of Knowledge< and pre-requisites in both academic and experience areas. As a result, PMI’s professional certification is universally accepted and recognized.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) (5 days)

PMI PMP Revision Workshop (2 days)
- Coaching and practice questions to prepare for you for PMP certification exam
PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) (5 days)
- This course is aimed at anyone who has a basic or limited knowledge of Project Management principles, practices, tools and techniques
- It requires a lower level of pre-requisites than the PMP qualification >(See Eligibility Criteria)

Eligibility Requirements for PMI Courses
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) Eligibility Criteria
Option 1
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Plus 7,500 hours in a position of responsibility leading and directing specific tasks
• Plus 60 months of project management experience
Option 2
• Degree (or equivalent)
• Plus 4,500 hours leading and directing specific tasks
• Plus 36 months of project management experience.
PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Eligibility Criteria
• High school diploma or equivalent a
• Either 1,500 hours on a project team or 23 hours project management training (i.e. CAPM training course)
PMI Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
PMI uses the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) which is generally accepted as best practice within the project management discipline. As an internationally recognised standard it provides the fundamentals of project management, irrespective of the type of project be it construction, software, engineering, automotive etc.
PMBOK recognises 5 basic process groups and 9 knowledge areas typical of almost all projects. The basic concepts are applicable to projects, programs and operations.
The five basic process groups are:
