PRINCE2 Consolidation Workshop

This workshop is designed to consolidate the knowledge and skills that delegates will have gained through their previous attendance on a PRINCE2™ Practitioner course.

• Revise the Processes, Components and Techniques of the method
• Reinforce the learning points of the course
• Identify and examine any common issues delegates have experienced in putting PRINCE2™ theory into practise
• As a group identify and evaluate options for addressing these issues
• Provide an opportunity for individual 1 to 1 mentoring and support

Delegates will have an understanding of the principles of PRINCE2, and will preferably have used PRINCE2 in their workplace

The morning will comprise a PRINCE2™ “refresher” session revisiting the main principles of PRINCE2™ in which delegates will be encouraged to share their experiences of implementing the theory in practice, identifying specific points where the method has been implemented successfully and those areas that require further work.

The afternoon will provide the opportunity to explore in further detail any common issues that have been identified and, as a group, identify possible approaches to addressing these issues.

As time permits, there will be opportunity for individual 1-to-1 mentoring with the trainer.

• Management by Exception
• Business Case and Project Initiation Document – including Ownership and Sign-off
• Project Assurance Responsibilities for Project Board Members
