The centre opened in November 2003, and is strategically located close to the A303, on Andover’s western ring road (A343), with easy access to Andover town centre and nearby Winchester, Salisbury and Newbury.
The centre comprises five different buildings in an attractive landscaped courtyard setting, and has many light and airy training rooms. There is no accommodation on-site but please see the attached accommodation guide for further information.
Reception opens at 8:45am (there is no access to the building for delegates before that time). You will be greeted with freshly brewed coffee and tea and can make use of the relaxation areas.
Basepoint is a non-smoking building however there are ashtrays and benches outside the main entrance.
Internet connection for delegates is unfortunately not available yet.
Our superb caterers will provide an executive cold lunch offering a variety of sandwiches, finger food, fruit, cake and juice. This will be served in Basepoint’s Bistro style kitchen. Hot drinks and refreshments will either be served in the training room or relaxation areas.
DISABLED ACCESS:
As Basepoint is a new building the facilities for the physically disabled are very good. There is a lift and the rooms are spacious, but please contact us if you have any disabilities, so that we can make sure your training course goes smoothly.
Basepoint is conveniently located next to Charlton Lakes and this is ideal for a relaxing walk. At the centre of the lake is Charlton Lakeside Pavilion which offers hot and cold snacks, ice creams and various drinks. It has a sun patio and deck area overlooking the lake and disabled facilities.
