By Car: 

From the south on the A1(M)
Take J64 onto the A195. One mile from the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A182.

From the north on the A1(M)
Take the A1231 to Sunderland. Continue on the A1231 by turning right at the roundabout. One mile from the roundabout, take the third exit onto the A182.

From the Tyne Tunnel
Follow the A1231. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A182.

From the A19 and Sunderland 
Follow the A1231. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the A182. The A182, also called the Washington Highway, is the main road through Washington. Leave the A182 at the exit signposted District 1, Town Centre, The Galleries. After leaving the main roundabout, filter left to the Western Car Park. At the mini roundabout, turn left into the car park, then left again to the end of the car park. Glendale House is the building facing you.

Mainline station on GNER East Coast link. Approximately 20 minutes’ drive.
