This two-day instructor-led course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to install and configure a computer running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006. The course also shows you how to deploy and manage BizTalk applications in a production environment.

This course is intended for systems engineers and network administrators with two to three years of experience managing an enterprise-level Microsoft Windows Server environment.

Course Outline

Module 1: Introduction to BizTalk Server 2006

This module describes common BizTalk Server 2006 scenarios, the BizTalk messaging architecture, and the tools provided to develop, manage, and monitor a BizTalk Server environment.

This module shows you how to plan and perform a BizTalk Server installation, and then how to configure BizTalk Server 2006 for optimal use in a production environment.

Module 5: Administering a BizTalk Server Environment

This module shows you how to administer a BizTalk Server group and manage backup operations for a BizTalk Server environment.
