Course: ISEB Requirements Engineering - 4 days
Course Summary
Requirements as a Sound Foundation for Change
Studies have repeatedly shown that well-defined requirements form a firm foundation for successful projects and the resulting operational systems. Conversely, many projects fail as a result of inadequately defined requirements.
This course provides the business analyst with a framework and related techniques that will enable the successful elicitation, analysis, validation and documentation of requirements. It also highlights the importance of other aspects of requirements definition, including:
• Identification of the key players in the process.
• The dependencies between requirements and the business case.
• The link between requirements definition and testing.
• The need to manage evolving requirements throughout the project.
On completion of this course delegates may wish to sit for the latest ISEB Certificate in Requirements Engineering which counts towards an ISEB Diploma in Business analysis.
