Course: DSDM Atern Practitioner

Course Summary

The course is evenly divided between the theory of DSDM Atern and the practical application of its techniques. An integrated case study is used to give delegates an opportunity to explore and experience these techniques. Delegates will receive the DSDM Atern Pocketbook and they can elect to take the DSDM Atern Foundation exam (accredited by APMG) at the end of the third day should
they wish to do so.

 

This course will enable delegates to:

  • Understand the reasoning behind the agile approach to projects.
  • Describe the principles of DSDM Atern.
  • Navigate through the DSDM Atern Lifecycle.
  • Understand the basic composition of the DSDM Atern products.
  • Understand the roles, responsibilities and structure of a DSDM Atern team.
  • Explore the importance of team dynamics in agile project environments.
  • Learn the basics of techniques such as MoSCoW, Timeboxing, Facilitated Workshops, Modelling and Prototyping.
  • Assess the benefits of DSDM Atern and how to implement it into an organisation.
