MCPD: Web Developer

The Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Web Developer (MCPD: Web Developer) certification demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are required to build interactive, data-driven Web applications that use ASP.NET 2.0 for both intranet and Internet uses.

Exams

Candidates earn their MCPD: Web Developer by passing one additional required exam.

Exam 70-547: PRO: Designing and Developing Web Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework

If you are a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), you can upgrade to the MCPD: Web Developer certification by taking one upgrade exam, Exam 70–551: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Web Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework. By passing this upgrade exam, you will automatically obtain the relevant MCTS prerequisite, MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications.  Courses MS2541, MS2542, MS2543 and MS2544 are applicable.

Pre-Requisites

Candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications certification
