PRINCE2 Practitioner
Target Audience
This event is suitable for anyone working on projects in a customer/supplier environment who wishes to become a PRINCE2 Practitioner.
Previous experience of PRINCE2 is not necessary.
Learning Objectives
The objectives of this 5-day accredited course are to
- Understand the need for project management and how PRINCE2 meets that requirement
- Learn a structured approach to project management, and manage your projects more successfully using the PRINCE2 method
- Learn to prepare organise, plan and control projects including preparing a project plan, Project Initiation Document , and managing product development, quality control and change control
- Take the Foundation and Practitioner examinations (which are included in the course)
- Receive the internationally recognised certificate which will increase your employability
Pre-Requisites
The only pre-requisites are either
- A basic awareness of project work in your own business environment,
- OR a general understanding of project management
No previous experience of PRINCE2 is necessary

What’s Included ?
Please note that this is an intensive course. Most Focus accredited training providers will supply a pre-course reading pack which will include the PRINCE2™ manual and you will be expected to carry out 15- 20 hours pre-course reading prior to starting the course. There will also be revision and exam practice work each evening of the course.

Examinations
Delegates who pass the Practitioner examination are awarded the qualification of "Registered PRINCE2 Practitioner". The certificate is an internationally recognised qualification in PRINCE2.
