MCPD: Windows Developer

The Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Windows Developer (MCPD: Windows Developer) certification demonstrates that you have the comprehensive skills that are required to build rich client applications that target the Windows Forms platform using the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0.

Exams

Candidates earn their MCPD: Windows Developer by passing one additional exam.

Exam 70–548: PRO: Designing and Developing Windows Applications by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework

If you are a Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD), you can upgrade to the MCPD: Windows Developer certification by taking one upgrade exam, Exam 70–552: UPGRADE: MCAD Skills to MCPD: Windows Developer by Using the Microsoft .NET Framework. By passing this upgrade exam, you will also automatically obtain the relevant MCTS prerequisite, MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications. Courses MS2794, MS2795, MS2796 and MS2797 are applicable.

Candidates must first complete the requirements for the MCTS: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications certification
