Introduction to Successful Benefits Realisation
Course Summary
Benefits Realisation Management (BRM) is an approach to managing organisational change that maximises the realisation of benefits. It is more than a methodology for justifying investments and more than a mechanism for benefit measurement.
This interactive workshop will provide the delegates with a common sense, practical methodology that integrates closely with many existing approaches to programme and project management (e.g. MSP 3 and Prince 2) and that will dramatically and demonstrably increase the realisation of benefits from IT enabled business change.
Successful Benefits Realisation (SBR) is the result of more than 20 years of experience of success and failure in trying to realise benefits from organisational change and transformation. It is a complete method and toolkit based on hard experience and common sense. It shows how to understand your current capability and situation and how to actually realise, instead of just defining, the benefits the organisation is looking for. SBR integrates naturally with other popular methods for project and programme management such as MSP 3 and Prince2.
